Wolf and Raven
This book is a braided novel: a collection of short stories woven into a novel. This is a favorite book of mine, with the stories written for love, not money. (Though it was fun to get paid for them.) Funny, gritty, set in the ShadowRun™ universe created by FASA.
Prince of Havoc
Task Force Serpent has triumphed and Clan Smoke Jaguar is shattered beyond redemption. but the final battle is still o come, when Prince Victor Steiner-Davion braves the unknown and travels to the very heart of the Clans: Strana Mechty. there, with elite unites from across the Inner Sphere, he must wage the ultimate battle to destroy the Crusader cause and forever eliminate the possibility of a new Clan invasion. Pushed to the edge of endurance by a peace they cannot understand, the Clans accept the challenge—and the ultimate battle begins.
But even if the Inner Sphere should prove triumphant, will their return be what they expect? Prince Victor left an Inner Sphere united under a new Star League to battle the most dangerous foe the Inner Sphere has ever encountered: the Clans. but he also left behind his scheming sister Katrina Steiner, whose ambition knows no bounds. Task Force Serpent and Prince Victor believed that facing the Clans on their own homeworlds would prove the most difficult fight of their lives. They will soon learn that their fight has just begun.
Prince of Havoc was Mike’s last BattleTech™ novel for FASA.
Evil Triumphant
The exciting concluding volume of the Fiddleback Trilogy.
“The enemy of my enemy is my friend.”
Or so the conventional wisdom goes… But when forced to work with a Dark Lord, nothing is conventional.
Fiddleback and Coyote need each other to defeat fiddleback’s rebellious protege, the sculptor Pygmalion. This alliance, however, could prove to be Coyote’s—and Earth’s—death-knell.
Pygmalion now has a pupil of his own—the godling Ryuhito, grandson of the Japanese emperor. Through him, Pygmalion’s horrific power is amplified. But the fires of betrayal burn within the newly apprenticed Ryuhito. And the Emperor wants him back.
Deceit, treachery and revenge fester in this war of Dark Lords and their minions. Coyote and his warriors fight against Dark Lords, doing battle to prevent the nightmare of… Evil Triumphant.
Evil Ascending
The second exciting installment of the Fiddleback Trilogy.
Rajani, the daughter of an ET who escaped domination by the Dark Lords, struggles across a ruined Earth to destroy Fiddleback.
Tycho Caine, a former puppet of Fiddleback, assumes the identity and mission of Coyote, the man who stole his memory and set him free. Caine’s mission leads him to a Tibetan monastery, where dimension-walking monks help him search for his true nature.
Sinclair MacNeal, working for Coyote/Caine, travels to Tokyo to find the enclave of assassins where Caine was forged into Fiddleback’s tool.
Where these three paths converge, Dark Lords clash, and reality bends like heated wax.
A Gathering Evil
Originally written to introduce the roleplaying game Dark Conspiracy, A Gathering Evil is a techno-horror thriller and the first of the Fiddleback Trilogy.
Tycho Caine is a man with a mission. He’s sure of that. But, waking up in a body bag with amnesia, he’s not sure of much else. Except that someone wants him dead.
The world is ours—or what ours would have been had it followed a nastier path. In Phoenix, Arizona, the streets are roofed over with giant solar power panels called “Frozen Shade” by the street people. Giant corporate fortresses dot the landscape. A privileged few enjoy pampered luxury, while a vast underclass suffers. Behind it all, unspeakable abominations carry out a convoluted, centuries-old plan of invasion and conquest.
Caine’s search for his identity and his mission uncovers an invasion from another dimension, an invasion so subtle, so covert, that most of the world has not even noticed. The invaders are the stuff of nightmares—every “mythical” monster is only a pale, dimly viewed reflection of their unimaginable reality. Worst of all, Cain discovers that he may be one of the dark minions of A Gathering Evil.

The Witch In Scarlet
New York Times Bestselling author, Michael A. Stackpole, brings you another great Trick Molloy story. The Witch in Scarlet is the first in the Legacy cycle of stories. Trick’s step-father has threated to leave his estate to hate groups unless his heirs participate in a series of competitions. The first? Add the painting The Witch in Scarlet to the deceased’s collection. Should be easy. It’s up for sale.
But there is something wrong with the painting. A lot of bad people want it and that means Trick has to stop them. But sometimes Trick bites off more than he can chew and, in this case, it can bite back.
This story follows Little Girl Lost in the Molloy Continuity. The product is presented as a PDF document.
Fiddleback Trilogy Omnibus
The Fiddleback Trilogy Omnibus collects the three novels by Michael A. Stackpole, written for Game Designers Workshop and their roleplaying gameDark Conspiracy. A Gathering Evil, Evil Ascending, and Evil Triumphant, were the first novels Mike wrote for someone other than FASA. They were intended to introduce the techno-horror game Dark Conspiracy, with the first book being written at the same time as the game was being developed. Loren Wiseman pulled elements from A Gathering Evil and incorporated them into the world of the game in an interesting instance of parallel development.
In A Gathering Evil Tycho Caine awakens in a body bag, on his way to being pieced out for parts. In escaping he’s brought into the organization run by a mysterious figure who calls himself Coyote. Coyote and his people are actively fighting to keep sociopathic creatures with semi-divine abilities from destroying the Earth. These Dark Lords are incredibly powerful and one in particular, Fiddleback, is intent on possessing the Earth.
As the series progresses through Evil Ascending and concludes in Evil Triumphant, Caine learns more about the Dark Lords and himself. He’s forced to enter into an alliance with Fiddleback to destroy Fiddleback’s rebellious protege, Pygmalion. The alliance itself poses a great threat to Earth, but cannot be avoided if Pygmalion’s evil is to be ended. And with more Dark Lords making their influence felt, the chances of preserving Earth shrink with every passing second.
The Fiddleback Trilogy is a set of three fast action, adventure novels full of combat and mystery, horror and conspiracies. This Omnibus package includes both the epub version of the Omnibus (suitable for the Nook, Sony Ereaders and the iPad) and the mobi format file which can be used on the Kindle. (Amazon’s pricing structure do not make it economically feasible for the book to be sold through Amazon.) The download file is a zip archive which must be unpacked before the books can be loaded on a device.

Tricknomancy
Tricknomancy collects all seven of the Trick Molloy stories into the novel-length story they were always meant to be. This collection includes If Vanity Doesn’t Kill Me and The Devil Within which have not been previously released or collected with these other stories: No Rest For The Wicked, Such A Nice Girl, Little Girl Lost, The Witch in Scarlet and ‘Til Death.
Tricknomancy tells the story of Patrick Molloy, a magick-using ex-cop who was busted off the force on trumped up bribery charges. He works as a bouncer in a Gentlemen’s Club, Club Flesh, where all the women use magick to conjure dollars out of the patrons’ pockets. His only true friend is the coroner; his family hates him with a passion, and the cop who busted him off the force is just itching to find a way to send him to jail.
Trick Molloy’s world is one in which magick-users are feared and hated. Televangelists make bank on casting them as the devil’s tools. Gangsters often use magick more readily than guns. Respectable magickers use their skills for seduction, robbery and murder. No one in power really cares about what befalls the criminal class, which leaves Trick Molloy as the one man smart enough to discover the truth, and tough enough to administer justice.
These seven stories, sold separately, would cost $18. This collection is a steal at $5.
This product is provided in the epub format, suitable for use with the Nook, Sony Readers, iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch and Adobe Digital editions (pretty much with anything that is not a Kindle.) The book is available on the Kindle through Amazon.
